Are you saying when your in your inbox jaws does not tell you without opening the email who the sender is? Have you looked in the view menu and columns and there are a list of itmes that you can choose to give you info pertaining to emails the less you have unchecked the more info you will hear. I have for instance these items checked.. starting from the top..attachments, from, subject and recieved the rest are all unchecked.. I hope I'm understanding your problem right..
