mark - Sounds like something's overlaying the screen. What do you use for a firewall? Anti virus program? Have you tried looking at the window with the invisible cursor--sometimes that'll reveal things nothing else will? Are the video drivers up to date?

It's as if there's a "blind spot," right in the middle of the message list view that I cannot get rid of by maximizing, reloading Jaws and Outlook Express both individually, or refreshing the screen with insert escape. Is there a fix for this? It's a minor annoyance, but pesky. Once in the message body pane, BTW, Jaws reads the entire message perfectly.
