Do not know about video drivers.  The problem has since gone away after 
using Word.  Nothing was active in the active window list, systray or in 
services.  Norton shouldn't have been doing anything, and the firewall 
didn't have any issues.  I haven't used the invisible cursor though, don't 
really even know what its purpose for existence is or how it's used.  I'll 
try that next time; I assume the controls are the same for the Jaws cursor.
