Hi All,

I am at a loss as to explain why a particular keyboard shortcut isn't working
on my new laptop.

I've always known that if you're on a web page, the keyboard shortcut to go
back a page is the alt-left arrow and to go forward a page, is the alt-right
arrow.

For some reason I can't explain, these shortcuts aren't working.

They seem to be working fine when I'm surfing a web page such as Google, Yahoo
or some other page on the internet, but when I'm doing folders on my computer,
the back command isn't working.

Is there a certain setting in Windows or Jaws that should be checked or
something like that?

I'm sorry if this is off topic, I just wasn't sure if this is a Jaws problem or
a Windows problem.

I can do it on my desktop computer without a problem, and I've recently made
changes to the settings on my laptop in accordance with Debbie's helpful hint,
"FS Recommended Settings for XP".

I have to say that I'm not sure if some of those settings are still o.k. as my
computer is behaving pretty weird now.

Does anyone have an updated version of Debbie's helpful hint?

I prefer, however, to shelve the settings question for some other time, and
concentrate on the shortcut question because I have a great many files to
transfer over, and it's taking forever without that shortcut.

Victor
