Well if you are already on a given web page and you wish to copy the link then 
hit alt+D, then control + C.  If it's a situation where you are just trying to 
copy a link then as the lady suggested go to the start of the address IE for 
example http://www.jaws-users.com and arrow right until you hear a blank space. 
 Then hit control+C and everything should be fine.

Hi David
I followed your instructions. When I did shift and home or shift and end it 
said selected but when I did control C it said nothing selected.
Therefore I was unable to get to the appropriate website.
Could you please help.
