Yes, using a laptop is different then using a desktop.  I leave my laptop
keyboard set in JAWS to desktop.  This just means that I need to learn how
to access the embedded number pad on the laptop keyboard.

Yes absolutely there is a complete keyboard lay out for lap tops.
Personally I always use a standard keyboard when ever I need to access a lap
top.  It just makes life easier only having to remember one set of commands.
