Patti,
I have a similar problem with JAWS 6.2 and XP Home and OE. I've
got all my windows set to maximized via Auto Sizer. I've tinkered
with column lengths before and it hasn't helped. Sometimes JAWS says
the time correctly and other times part of it is cut off-I haven't
noticed a pattern yet. For a while I thought maybe JAWS read the
whole thing when there was only 1 number before the colon, but that
didn't pan out. Then it looked like it would say p.m. times
correctly, but not morning ones, but that theory didn't pan out
either.
I think JAWS might have always read the whole time way back when I
first started using JFW with 3.3x and OE 4.x or 5.x, but it's not read
the whole thing for several versions now and I had problems with my
Win 98 machine too.
I've given up on it since I've just learned to live with it and I
can get the whole time other ways if I want it.
I'd be interested if you get any other suggestions. Wonder if it
could be a graphics card thing?

Hey Tom,
Thank you for getting back to me.
I did that and no luck. I went into columns from and changed the
pixels to 200, but no luck there.
Jaws is still saying 73 and not 7:30.
I don't know what else to do. hmmmmmm
Still confused Patti

Patty,
It appears that your window is not maximized so some text is being
cut off.
Press ALT plus spacebar. Then down arrow to the Maximize option.
Press Enter.
This should solve your problem. It may be necessary to do this on
each
message as the message is opened in a new window.
Good luck.
Tom
