That is good to know.

I use the find message feature by doing control, shift F.

Then I press (if I want to delete message with a certain subject line) alt 
U.

If I want to delete messages left by a certain person, I press alt R.

and if I want to delete messages from a certain group, I press alt T.

I hope I'm remembering these key strokes correctly.
