You cannot use the cut (CONTROL+X) function to literally move entries from
the main contacts folder to the new folder.  What you can do is to select
the entries you want to move from the main folder to the new sub-folder, use
the copy (CONTROL+C) function, go into the desired sub-folder and paste
(CONTROL+V) -- each of the selected contacts will be copied to the new
folder.  It will appear as if you are recreating each entry, but you can
default to the OK button immediately.  You must then go back to the main
folder and delete each of the contacts you just copied to the new
sub-folder.
