Here is a trick I use when I need to get the JAWS cursor down to one of
those bubbles quickly. Use your physical mouse or mouse pad to move the
mouse cursor (PC cursor) to the lower right of the screen. This will
hopefully put your cursor in the lower corner of the screen where your clock
is on the task bar. If you find that this is not happening, then either you
are not moving the mouse enough, or your mouse settings are set to allow
your mouse cursor to wrap around to the other side of the screen.

Once you think that you are there, Route your JAWS cursor to the PC Cursor.
Use your arrow keys to move the JAWS Cursor around to read the bubble which
is located just above the clock and other things on the task bar.

When trying to read this bubble, it is sometimes helpful to switch back to
your PC Cursor to read it. Just turn on the PC cursor, do not route it. If
the bubble is made up of text and not just graphics, and your settings are
set properly, you should be able to use the JAWS Insert+B command to read
the bubble.

If you read that there is something to click, position the JAWS cursor on it
by once again routing your JAWS cursor to the PC cursor. Now do a left
click.

I hope this is helpful. I've got to admit, I really don't know what I am
doing with this, so maybe some one else on the list can provide some more
info.

Annette

  Hi Reinhard,

I've noticed that sometimes the bubbles only appear when something needs
  to
be taken care of, and that if the bubble disappears, then it most likely
took care of itself, but as you are saying that you are still having
problems interacting with the Braille whatever you were trying to hook up,

then obviously, the bubble should still be there.

What exactly is the bubble saying to you, or rather, what does Jaws report

  that the bubble says?

It might help to know what the bubble says before helping you further.

  Victor
