Hi Bill,

When was the last time you ran a spyware program like Ad-Aware, or Spybot, 
and you might want to check for viruses, if you haven't already.

Another thing you might want to do is do a control+alt+delete to go to the 
Window's Task Manager dialog.  I am, of course, assuming you are using 
Windows XP, otherwise, this won't work very well, as it does not work in 
anything other than 2000 and up.

Do a control+tab to go to the processes tab, and if you can, check out 
what's running at that particular instance.  If you don't understand what 
one of the processes are, do a Google search on the process and see what 
that turns up.

Keep in mind, that if you go to a site that advises you of what you can shut 
off and what you can't, please be careful, as some of the processes, while 
not necessary to a sighted user, could be crucial for running Jaws.
