I've never been able to get the reply to original sender thing to work. I
tried the key combo, and it said something about unknown script called to
replyer etc. I can't remember the exact wording, but in any case, it
wouldn't work. I'll go back and play with it again just to see if I might
have done something wrong.

Jason -

The easiest thing is to do the following, which assumes you have your e-mail
client configured so that the message you're replying to is included at the
bottom of your response:

1. Press Reply.
2. In the body of the new message, arrow down a few lines and look at the
>From field in the original message. This will show the original sender's
e-mail address (see your own message, below). You can use copy and paste to
grab their address.

You can also press CTRL+F3 while reading the message. This lets you see all
the headers and you can view the actual contents of the From field.

I don't underwstand why you say that simply using Reply won't work. Of
course it will, unless you're talking about replying off-list to a message
that you read as part of a list like this one. In that case, the easiest
thing to do is to use the ReplyToOriginal Sender script in JAWS 7.0 and
7.10. In 7.0, this is pre-defined as INSERT+SHIFT+R, but in 7.10, you must
define it using the Keyboard Manager. Once implemented, you can simply press
the key combination to reply directly to the sender of a list message rather
than send a message to the entire list. However, even with list messages,
using CTRL+F3 will still show you the original sender's full e-mail address.

Subject: [jaws-users] how do you get an email address from a message

Hi everyone,
I need a memory refresher. I was told this a long time ago, but have
forgotten. I have an email from someone. However, their email address does
not appear in the body of their message. I was told a while ago, how to find
their address in the message, but have forgotten. I have used the Jaws
cursor, but had no luck. I need to create a new message to send them, so
just clicking reply will not do this time.
thanks for your help
Jason
