Basically, there isn't much to it on the jBASE side but the kind of things you need to watch out for are: 1) You need to use LENB specifically sometimes LEN always gives the character length, not the number of bytes; 2) You will need to use special functions to test the display width of strings and so on. Some characters in Kanji require 2 screen display positions - don't hack this kind of thing.
