There are some user exits that can do this, but I no longer know what they
are. The jBASE support guys should be able to tell you though. They have
been in the product since about 1992 ;-) I think that the separators are AM
though.

Subject: set difference functions??

hi group,

Is there any Set difference function available.

i.e.

SETA = V1:@FM:V2:@FM:V3:@FM:V9:@FM:V12

SETB = V2:@FM:V5:@FM:V7:@FM:V9

I got to find out SETA - SETB which would be V1:@FM:V3:@FM:V12

I know we could use DIFF-LIST along with &SAVEDLISTS&

It might be a simple function, that i am not aware. i made a search in jbase
BASIC document, couldnt find it.

rgds,

anand
