Gentlemen: I have updated to jbase 3.4.10 now. I know I can "updateMD" to get all latest dict items into my MD. But... I am wondering if there is an easy way to get rid of items no longer needed, other than go through them one by one, analyze and remove? I still have crap in MD that is left over from my conversion from PICK a number of years ago. Can I delete the MD, create-file DICT MD 1, and then do an updateMD to re-populate with current info in my various accounts ? I think I could do this by shutting down the jbase server and then deleting through windows. But if I do this , would I be able to logon to do the update ? Dave
