I'm just starting to review migration from jBASE 3.4 to jBASE 5.2 with some earnest.

So far, I've set up a Windows server 2008R2 64 bit system, loaded jbase 5.2.16, installed Windows Server 2008 SDK.

I've loaded my data, and re-created my remote.cmd script using iju. If I start up a dos command prompt, move into the data directory and run the remote.cmd script, it runs fine.

I've then created a Windows user which should allow me to telnet into the system . I've set the local path on the "Profile" tab of the user to my home directory (where the remote.cmd file lies).

When I telnet into the server, I get the jBASE telnet prompt, but when I login I get an error : "Error 2 starting command"

AFAIK Errmsg 2 is "The System cannot find the file specified".

I'm presuming that it's not looking in the directory that I expected!

What have I done wrong ?

Thanks in advance

Simon
