jQL from jBASE 5.x will not work over jRFS to files on a jBASE 3.x system. BASIC may work but is not supported.
One option is to move the files to the jBASE 5.x system and, if necessary, access them via jRFS from the jBASE 3.x system. However, be aware that jBASE 3.x can only access file types that are supported on jBASE 3.x.
