That doesn't make sense. The default 'pivot' year is '30' such that two
digit dates are converted as follows:
00-29 2000->2029
30-99 1930->1999
For example, running this code...
internaldate = ICONV('1-1-43','D') ;* simulate the input of a date with a
2-digit year
CRT OCONV(internaldate,'DY')
returns '1943' (not '2043').
The jBASE environment variable 'JBASE_PIVOT_YEAR' (only valid on jBASE 5)
can be used to change this behavior. For example:
set JBASE_PIVOT_YEAR=50
Running that same code now returns '2043'.
