Hi everyone,

I just install jBASE 5.7.1 on my lab system to be able to test some bug fix
before i can put it on my DEV , QA and eventually on my PROD system.

i noticed that the modification of a record is impossible on the pre-write
trigger and I've been told that is now have to be done on the POST READ
trigger and effectively it's working on the POST READ trigger, but it make
no sense if we are not going to save that record.

i don't know if Zumasys did that intentionally but if this is the case i
think we will stay on version 5.6.3 forever.

I like us , modification of record in pre write trigger is essential for
your production system like us , i will strongly recommend to stay at the
version you are using until they put it back the way it was before.
