JBT has two ways of remote monitoring: by email and using the web interface. By my own experience (and by experience of other JBT users), the email notifications are not very reliable. Since the web interface gives access to a complete state of JBT and the running strategies, I am inclined to get rid of the email monitoring functionality. We can always expand the web interface to include any additional information, such as access to event log.
However, if there is a compelling reason to keep both email and web interface, I'll leave them along.
