My previous comment was in response to your suggestion about the "last price-change timestamp" for monitoring the adverse conditions. My point was that this new field would not give you any additional information in regards to what possible adverse conditions may have occurred. If the wall clock says "4pm" and JBT is still holding a position, you already know something has happened.
