Recently I made a ticket to IB: I am accessing TWS via API and have an FA account. I am trading live with my real account on my live PC. I have another PC to make simulations with my simulation account, concurrently. However, as soon as I have TWS open with my real account, I am getting no more data for my simulations. It looks like this ES Jun'13 @Globex ? ? ? ? How can I access data in my simulated TWS while my real TWS is open? The answer from IB: In order to see real time data on both your live account and paper account you need to run both sessions at the same time on the same computer. If you run them on different computers you will only get delayed data in the simulated account. If you have any further questions please let me know. Varoon IB Financial Advisor Services.
