Yes, this makes sense. I'm running the real account and take the data from 
there in order to make backtests.
 
I am using the simulation account only in order to test special situations 
like order rejections and the like. However I cannot do that on a different 
computer while the live account TWS is open. Contrary from what IB states 
(see first post), I'm getting no data at all on the simulation TWS while 
the real TWS is running. I not even get delayed data!
 
On the other hand, as IB suggests, I cannot use both TWS on the 
same machine because I cannot run two instances of JBookTrader on the same 
machine. The bottom line is I have to make my tests while the real TWS is 
not running.
 
My question was if there are other possibilities, for instance: Can I 
access TWS running on a different machine as JBookTrader runs?
