Hi guys, it has been a while I was here last time :-) Now I want to start over with JBT.
First I want to automate my data recording. The favorite contracts from you guys seem to be ES and CL, so I will use them too. Since I would have one slot open, what would be a good third contract? Since I live in Germany my ping are not so good as in the US. So I want to use the Amazon AWS infrastructure. What kind of instances at which cost are you using? What is the minimum configuration required to run JBT with IB Gateway? What storage settings for the recorded files do you use? Your experiences with 24 hours/5 days seem to be good. How do you handle the IB passcode card? Do you once enter it and IB Gateway runs all the time? Or do you need to use IBcontroller? Any recommendations on this? @Eugene: your datafiles look nearly perfect regarding start time and end time! how do you accomplish this to make your recorded data files so smooth? Any cool scripts?
