I agree that using what is available instead of building one's own is
smart.
I don't agree that jumping through hoops to do it is always best. I will be
the first
to admit that I am biased by the environment in which I have experience. The
idea of
translating traffic in a environment that handles a nominal 4000 messages a
second is
a little abhorrent.
However, technically you are correct and this will work.
