You're perfectly right, that's the reason why I'm surprised by the 
availability of the TransactionManager within Beans. 
In fact I would like to use Castor ORMapping from inside a Session Bean, 
thus having the Castor engine synchronizes in term of transaction with 
the TransactionManager. By default,, Castor uses the transactionManager 
if available through JNDI ENC.


I know Oleg is working on it. I just would like to figure out what is 
portable and what is not. :-)
