in places where interest is unknown: people already there can begin
jboss-user-group. once the group gets going, jboss group (LLC) may calculate
the interest - no matter what level of world it is.

btw, i have seen students paying US$5000 a month for courses on SAP and
Oracle applications, in pakistan. i am sure same will be the case
everywhere.

market in these regions has great potential for open source. local contact
points/persons will be needed. government of pakistan has declared linux to
be the official OS for desktops. projects are underwar to tweak it.
