I am interested in helping out with this project.  I've read your suggestions on using 
XUL to render the web GUI and while I don't have any experience in using XUL, my gut 
feeling is that a much simpler Struts/Tiles based web application could provide all 
the layout you need and still hide a lot of the jmx complexity.

Additionally, what I think would be a nice addition to this project is a webmail 
application that allows the end user to configure their spam protection preferences 
(view/edit whitelist and blacklist addresses and greylist emails a la TMDA).  This 
would allow end users to immediately see the benefits of JBossMail for spam protection 
as well as give the project a lot more visibility.
