It is needed only if you have many datasources... and many pools to
them.
So "Yes!" the deployer must link in case there are many dbs he attacks
from jBoss.
Remember simple is good and 95% are going to go one db, dear.

Are we sure the name needs to appear in the "global" naming at all, as
in visible by clients?
or is it a "system" namespace like in jBoss 1.0.
