That problem I was having with IllegalArgumentExceptions loading from my Oracle database disappeared. Apparently the unwrapping conversion errors had gone away. When this happened, I was noticing a lot of RMI messages whizzing along in the trace. I had not seen these messages before and apparently the RMI involvement was helping the unwrapping process along nicely. However, I am now back to square 1 - no RMI messages and lots of unwrapping conversion errors. What has happened? And what was different when all the RMI messages were coming through?
