I wasn't clear.
What I am saying is that this is a "service" of the container to its
applications. Just like persistence and naming. It needs to be specified.
Take a stab at it if you want. You need to specify the schedule in an XML
format. And come up with the jboss.xml information to tell the container to
deploy that "event bean". You also need to specify what beans and instances
to call (entities and stateless beans only obviously) at event time.
Your mission if you accept it is to specify event beans, if you were to fail
the jboss organization will deny any knowledge of your actions. Linda
