you are probably right,
it just shows that the writing is on the wall

and

it is mostly a move to piss off SUN imho.

battle of the titans is done through open source... <?/> wow right ?

We have several accounts that say that the container EJB stuff is sub-par.
I know we brag alot about how advanced our container is, but I would hate to
see IBM treat the websphere stuff and how it relates to open source as yet
another "corporate garbage can".

In any case I am starting to grow into the idea that THIS IS EXCELLENT news
for us, it points the industry to a pot of gold, (old IBM FUD tactic to
kill competition, can *you* open source your appserver? is the message they
are sending to the industry) but WE as jboss/telkel already are sitting at
the bottom of it and we are not afraid ... :) no we are not afraid...
Interesting times, don't you think folks? I think the weakest point of
jboss is the "corporate look" and we can address that with solid code and
partnerships that are in the pipe... so stay tuned and take your part in
this amazing revolution... come help us!

regards

marc

PS: Peace to WebLogic, it must be scary he guys?...
Particularly Peace to you sriram we think you rock!
