You are not the first to want to use MS SQL Server. Others have tried,
and have run into problems with the mappings of dates and times. There
is (temporarily) much more tracing now in JAWS than there used to be, to
help us diagnose type mapping (and other) problems.
Have a look through the mail list archives to find out how others set up
their mappings for SQL Server; if you feel bold enough to give it a go,
please report back on your progress.
