That's interesting, since all the parsers I have ever worked with ignore
whitespace, and they treat ASCII 10, 13, and 8 as white space. Does jBoss
use the org.xml.sax.Parser system property to determine which parser to use?
Or does it just default to Sun's?

What about Apache.org's XML parser, I've used it for SAX processing, and
never had any problems like I encountered with ejb-jar.xml It seems to me
like not being able to hand-edit a file in notepad with indentations and
hard returns is a pretty *big* deal. Especially when jboss.org's "Getting
Started" tutorial uses tabs. If this really is a problem with Sun's XML
parser then its a pretty darn serious one IMHO.

Further, we're using Sun's XML parser, so if there are issues with
carriage returns that cause tags to disappear, there's not a lot we can
do.
