Ok, finally and with 2 weeks delay we are proud of releasing BETA PROD.
This version is intended for heavy production use.
Since it is still a BETA we know there are still some issues with it, some
are on the map some will appear. Since we ship the new RI the performance
is much much better and the logger is much faster. Also some speed issues
have been fixed.
This new version also has many improvements in the codebase and a finally
fully documented an rewritten differential metadata.
The documentation has dramatically increased. The documentation is still a
bit beta as we are now "debugging" the version stuff but all the material is
there.
There are some open issues and we will most likely do a "refresh" of the
BETA-PROD in a couple of weeks since we are now running in the "serious"
bugs and those that we didn't see.
FINALLY, I want to thank everybody on the lists, both jboss-dev and
jboss-user, you guys have been great for the past 3 months and have helped
us take a prototype to a level where "we are becoming a serious threat to
commercial app servers". Thanks to all those that posts bugs and help us
find them, to those that have written documentation on the website, it gives
us a more professional look, thanks to the team of development, this Object
Oriented world is tough, and thanks to our favorite alien, Rickard for
coming up with the original design.
In no particular order I want to thank, Dan O, Juha, AaronM, Rickard,
