The j2eeDeployer does not much on init (instanciating the ObjectName for the EmbededTomcatService and the ContainerFactory, setting the deployment dir, loding private config from hd). On start it tries to interact with the EmbeddedTomcat and the ContainerFactory. At this point this both services need to be available.
