we will test the latest VMs

|1.2.2? it's very slow but by far the most stable. all 1.3 versions still
|have some catching up to do on linux stabilitywise.

nah, we must be doing something wrong.  I can't believe Linux would play so
badly compared to w2k, other people would have seen it before us...
