2 cases
1- you live under apache and then it is apache pools
2- you live under RMI and then we do run 1000 clients with little problem
*depending on the hardware*.

|important to my client's use of jboss is that tons of
|client requests cannot crash the server because RMI
|creates too many threads to handle incoming
|invocations. I believe that RMI RI can crash very
|easily on high demand. What's the scoop with

|container takes about 0.1ms to 0.2 ms to go through

|serialization
|and the DB.

|In clear we are benching RMI serialization (= VM
|serialization) vs T3

|does VM serialization as well) and DB JDBC
|serialization :))))

|the noise can be high

|in the embedded sphere the container is quite fast
|(.1ms on w2k) we

|publish the JBoss on w2k, linux and solaris e4500
|results but not a vs
|benchmark. If people have these they are welcome to
|post but we won't
|"bless them". We are not interested in going head to
|head with WL we

|really not in the same market.
