Yes, and what about using beans from stand alone applications. The jndi
lookup does not seem to work as I get a socket exception with no further
explanation. (just used the interest example)

Betreff: [jBoss-User] Integrated jboss/tomcat binary distribution

Hi,

I installed the jboss-2.0_Final version which comes with integrated
jboss/tomcat environment. Going through the configuration and the test
application I figured that an application is deployed through EAR files. And
I managed to deploy a test ejb/servlet through the EAR file.

I also found that adding new contexts in the server configuration is being
ignored.

So how can I make calls jsps or htmls without really creating EAR files.
What is the document root. How can I test my EJBs and servlets and jsps
without creating EARs. It will be really a pain to bundle all these
everytime in a development environment.

Kind of new to jboss/tomcat and any help is appreciated

Thanks
Sundar
