Hi, The Application.XML has an entry: <!DOCTYPE application PUBLIC '-//Sun Microsystems, Inc.//DTD J2EE Application 1.2//EN' 'http://java.sun.com/j2ee/dtds/application_1_2.dtd'> which is causing the issue. Its worth noting the OrionServer distributes a JAR with all the J2EE DTD's which Orion uses before doing an external lookup - perhaps Jetty-Jboss could have a DTD folder which is autoscanned and loaded ? Then we can all ship DTDs and avoid the lookup [on the assumption that version management isnt a problem coz of low change rates] Kind regards Neville Burnell Business Manager Software -----Original Message----- From: Julian Gosnell [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, 4 December 2000 1:42 AM To: jBoss; Neville Burnell Subject: Re: [jBoss-User] How to configure Jboss-Jetty to use a ProxyServer This looks like the same problem as [EMAIL PROTECTED] is having. He can only deploy his EAR while dialled up. Please let me have a copy of your EAR's META-INF and I shall see what I can do. Is anyone out there successfully deploying EAR's on JBoss-Jetty (except the tomcat-test.ear with which it ships) ? Has anyone else encountered and/or worked around this problem (Jetty trying to pull down Sun's DTD while deploying WARs)...
