I'm using Linux RH 6.1, jboss-2.0 FINAL, tomcat 3.2.1
I just wanted to see if the jboss+tomcat was any good:
Unfortunately my tests always failed with "Deployment error" even with
the out-of-the-box jboss_tomcat bundle and the built-in tomcat-test.ear
Although (http://www.jboss.org/business/binary.html)
states that this will run with jvm 1.2.2, this
is not the case with my installation anyway.
The jdk1.2.2 on SUN's site for Linux seems use Blackdown.org's JVM.
After I downloaded & installed the jdk1.3 from the same place, the
jboss_tomcat started working...
(BTW run.sh script in /bin -dir have to be modified "java -server"
option is not recognized in neither jdk1.2.2 nor jdk1.3 so
remove it.)
