There are a lot of us independently spinning our collective wheels trying
to get the Petstore demo running on jBoss.

To not a few of us, it makes perfect sense to use the Petstore application,
which is fairly well-documented, as a basepoint from which to gain experience
with jBoss. I believe it is a valuable learning experience to be able to
compare jBoss and Sun's j2ee, and I would think that getting the Petstore
integration worked out would do more to promote jBoss than many other
more technical projects that are being pursued.

I'm a member of the Firebird/InterBase development team. We've integrated
the Petstore application with the Firebird/InterBase database the j2sdkee
server, but I'm not really excited about that. There's nothing I'd like
better than to post some notes on the InteBase community sites stating
that the Petstore application can be deployed on jBoss using the
 Firebird/InterBase database.

I know that you have stated that getting the Petstore working is one of
your priorities, but the fact is that every day that goes by without
documentation explaining how to deploy the Petstore on jBoss means that
people are unnecessarily wasting a lot of their time.

I know you have access to notes and deployer modifications that address
Petstore deployment on jBoss. Would you _please_ publish them? Even if
they're not complete, it will at least give us a framework to work within
 and a basepoint for collaboration.

 Thanks much,
