Thanks, it worked.  Another thing we noticed was "/" as a context root does
not work.  We had to have "/somedirectoryname" as  as context root.

Try file://localhost:8080/servlets/servlet/xyzservlet

Remember to add your servlets to the web.xml and either put them in the
classes directory of your web application or make them available within your
classpath.

If this doesn't work for you try Jetty and JBoss seperately(e.g. a jar file
for the EJBs and a war file for the web application).
