I had no problems with hot deployment under WIn95 but life is
not so simple with win2000. There are a number of issues,
which maybe some of you would recognise. E.g.
Often I cannot copy in a new EAR file into the deploy directory without
shutting down the server. Windows won't let me.
Once when I did manage it, I got some error about not being able
to find the WAR in my EAR (it was there, and everything was fine
on restarting).
On shutdown I get mutterings about not being able to delete files
in tmp/deploy.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? Are there ways to make my
life easier than restarting the server on each deployment?
