JBoss has been somewhat of a moving target lately, and there is some
discontinuity between the Pet Store documentation and the patch.
The latest version of the patch which was contributed by Scott Stark.
I'm assuming you're using it:

I'm hoping to get the deployment documentation straightened within the
next few days.
