Hi..i am also facing a similar issue. I created a simple EJB and deployed it as a jar file. I created a standalone client class. I included all the jar files mentioned in the client project. However when i invoke the EJB from the client i get the exception Exception javax.naming.CommunicationException: Receive timed out [Root exception is java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Receive timed out. I am usign JBoss 4.2.2 GA. Can anyone help?
