One more hint - on your hard drive create an exact image of what appears on the CD. For example, at /opt/cdimage, place the exact set of files and directories that appear on the CD. You can then 'cd' to that directory and run the autorun script manually. Once you are certain that this 'cd image' works correctly, you can then burn it to an actual CD. Or convert it to an ISO file and let people download and mount the ISO.
