"1) Do you *really* need to cache this collection? " No, for a short while we could probably live w/o that. However, there are several other collections that we do need to cache (that's pretty much the point of the project) and thus far I don't see why these failures won't show up there as well. Perhaps I will do that now, and wait and see if someone else chimes in with a take in the meantime.
