I'm new to setting up JBoss AS on Windows, but I wonder what is the preferred way to install as service. I searched the internet and the forums for quite some time and I found two possible solutions.
Executing service.bat install Using JavaService as described in the Installation And Getting Started Guide. Running service.bat fails as jbosssvc.exe reports some strange error (Fehler in .EXE Datei). I already submitted a bug report for that. https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBAS-6613 Java Service package seems to be quite old... Does it still work? Please advise!
