You need a file named jboss-web.xml.
Place it in the same dir as web.xml.
File content:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<jboss-web>
<security-domain>java:/jaas/<YOUR_REALM></security-domain>
</jboss-web>
